FLIR Launches the First Thermal Camera for Firefighting Aerial Ladders
Today FLIR announced the FLIR KF6, the fire industry’s first thermal imaging camera (TIC) designed for integration on aerial ladders. The fixed mounted FLIR KF6 provides firefighters with an aerial perspective needed to better observe structural fires in large buildings or warehouses, allowing apparatus operators to pinpoint hot spots in the smokiest conditions during overhaul operations.
